Rising food costs seem to be the talk of every news show lately. As consumers, we become even more aware of this when we’re in the grocery checkout line.
For agriculture, this just may prove to be a good time to address consumers and critics about the true costs of food before it lands in the grocery cart.
No, this will not be where I pat agricultural producers on the back for all they have done to improve efficiencies, which continue — even during these drastic price increases — to be the best in the world.
